Exactly 10 days ago we ran our first 'experiment' asking in the in-world models group to put on display the latest purchases from one of the traditional big monthly events of the SL shopping, Uber. Heather, Brunella and I have been receiving (even from ourselves... :p) different submissions and inquiries. Blogging events has some time requirements and deadlines to meet, but I was very pleased by the participation, both from models and photographers. Without further ado, here's the last batch of photos from the Uber event.
Our Fashion Editor Partee will open and close this post with two of her uber-stylish Uber looks!
In this excellent picture obviously taken in Pisa, she created a lovely coordination between a top from Fashionably Dead and the jeans from COCO, completed by these elegant yet practical heels from Utopia.
Outfit: [fd] Romantic Satin Top - Cookie [@ Uber]
*COCO* HighWaist Color Jeans - Burnt Orange [@ Uber]
**UTOPIA@Design** Letizia Heels [@ Uber]
These heels were also chosen by our next model, Attention co-owner Brunella Voelisa, who shows off her mannequin physique sporting the casual, cute salopette by Baiastice. She sent me these 3 great shots that truly highlight the beautiful fit of the dress
Bru has been so diligent in her style card - expect more posts with her material! - and here's all about her look.
Dress: Baiastice_Salopette Dress - Cobalt [@ Uber]
Shoes: Utopia@Design "Letizia" [@ Uber]
Hair: Doux "Emi";
Shape: Maitreya Lara;
Skin: Glam Affair;
Eyes: Ikon
Watch & Bracelet: Kunst
Necklace: Kibitz
Clasp: Silvery K
Amongst those who responded to our announcement we had also Jaz Lacombe who wanted to proudly display the popular Truth hair, Livia, coming from the event - here lounging at the Tuscany sim.
On her flickr you can also find a beautiful display of one dress from the event...

....here, from Lazybones, who was also my pick from the show. It can be worn without anything underneath and rest assured, people WILL notice. At the same time it accomodates perfectly the Ivy Lingerie also sold at the event. To complete my outfit, over the hair from Oleander you can see a bucket hat from kotte, plus the sandals from fri.day. And oh yes, I am a fan of silly props, so here you have me with bagels by PewPew on the left, and on the right I am getting some summer chill from a ...hippopotamus shaped sprinkler by D-Lab - there's no postproduction on the photo save for the basic contrast and light adjustments, the water sprinkle is just that detailed.
LAZYBONES - Ivy Bra & Brief - Grey - Maitreya [@ Uber]
Shoes: fri. - Heather Sandals (Coal) [@ Uber]
Hair: !Oleander ~ Lola. Unrigged L ( yes, it has a mirror version!) - Essential [@ Uber]

We thank also another model very active in these little challenges - it's Sweet aka Sweetsister Silverstar. She already sports here Tableau Vivant Hair - stay tuned in the next couple days for the roundup post we'll do with the entrants of Brunella's contest- and...

We are done for this round! We had fun getting some 'help' covering one of the 'big' fashion events, and loved to get your response. A big thank you from the blogging team (in this instance Heather, Brunella and myself, but you can find more informations about the other staff on the current issue of the magazine or just asking !), to the model in this post and the previous , to everyone whose pics we didn't end up using, to those who expressed their hangups and those who simply expressed curiosity and encouragement. These posts are for you!
