Moni's Musings - Essential Wardrobe (volume 1?)

Buy it once. Buy it twice. Buy it 10 times and you will still have a better investment than Bitcoin. Well.... certainly better than hanging onto those L$'s as an investment. Okay, I wrote those previous two lines a while before the whole market crash thing late last year, so, I guess it makes even MORE sense now.

Today I want to chat a bit about an article of clothing that forms the hardened backbone of my wardrobe. This is the best clothing investment I have made since becoming Moni 2.0. But, really, just take a look at my inventory listing for this bikini set from Valentine Technologies.

OK, now that you have had a chance to pick your jaw up off the floor, please consider what underlies this monstrosity of a single wardrobe item. And no, no need to comment on my lack of an AUBERGINE thong. I met Sascha Shea-Ghost in one of the clubs I frequent in Second Life. It is one of those places where people come to be seen. It is full of beautiful people and beautiful outfits. It also is a place for some freedom of expression. Lots of fetish-wear and even some more extreme looks. That is how I first talked to Sascha Shea-Ghost. Her avant-garde approach to life and fashion makes her stand out in any room. She is brash and ballsy. Frankly, she is a blast. She is French.
Instead of trying to define her, I decided it was better to let her do that herself. Here is my interview with Sascha Shea-Ghost. Ardent Poses @ The Pose Fair - Gemma Field

Like all keen photographers in SL, I attended the recent Pose Fair. I don't know if it was just me, but there appeared to be more new pose creators this round which is good news. However, one creator jumped out at me - Ardent Poses by Broderick Logan and his SL partner Ena Logan. I had never heard of Ardent Poses before and I was immediately besotted with their offering at the Pose Fair.
I was taken with the simplicity and versatility of the poses. When it comes to buying poses, I always ask myself this: How can I use that pose three different ways? As a scrapbooker in real life, I apply the same rule to stamps sets and the like. I have Anypose, and I can build my own poses but I often lack the time and imagination to do so. So I found the following poses really flexible. And it was refreshing to find some poses that I can use with male friends that don't scream "they must be dating!" Attentionista Simone Landers - A Salute the 4th of July!

Hi, Groovers!

Today I thought I'd get as much as an all Aussie gal can get into the 4th of July!
At Pink Cream Pie I found the cutest lil one-piece swimsuit called 'Ravin'. It comes in either a wide variety of colors and floral prints or, as I've gone with here, Ravin Patriot.
They look super cute when 'out in ya truck wit ya gun.'
They come in some adorable prints with BBQ's or fireworks, Hearts or ice creams. They have gorgeous detail and a HUD for changing the string.
If freedom was a color, surely it's Red.....
